This open-air dingbat on a typical urban site in Honolulu makes use of economic building materials to maximize the lifestyle qualities of the apartments. Each unit is fitted with custom built-ins that make efficient use of tight spaces, and an open lanai living room with a folding sunshade to mitigate sun exposure. Two bedroom units on the ends of the building have increased living space and a corner lanai. Designed to take advantage of the Honolulu Bill 7 ordinance, this Dingbat makes the most out of the least.
